Lori A. Lang Appointed Village Trustee

Executive Board, Hometown Pride Party • February 20, 2023

Mayor Corbett appointed Lori A. Lang to fill the vacant trustee seat on the Malverne Village Board. Lori cares deeply about the Village and is excited to get to work.

MALVERNE, NY—On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, Mayor Corbett appointed Lori A. Lang to the Malverne Village Board of Trustees. Lori's appointment fills the trustee vacated by Senator Fitzpatrick earlier this year.

"I think everyone knows Lori is someone who has a heart vested in this Village, someone who cares very greatly about this Village. It is not lost on us that we were, I guess, adversaries--though I don't like that word--four years ago. But like I've always said, this village board is about providing for all residents, not just a few residents, but really doing the work for every single person who lives and resides in Malverne. Lori is someone who cares very deeply about this Village. You can see that when you meet with her, when you speak with her," Mayor Corbett said.

Lori is excited to take on this new role and to represent Malverne residents as the Board undertakes its budget process for the upcoming fiscal year.

"Thank you to Mayor Corbett for appointing me. I promise to give you all my effort and energy for the next two years," Lang said.
