The Hometown Pride Party is excited to announce Lori A. Lang's re-election campaign for Village Trustee. Trustee Lang is excited to continue working on behalf of all Malverne residents.

LORI A. LANG

I offer a lifetime of professional experience and a track record of active community service, and I am eager to continue advocating for you and your interests as a Trustee of the Village of Malverne. Since my election in March 2023, I have worked closely with the Mayor, Village Board, and Village Hall Staff to implement significant enhancements for our community, including the recent launch of the new police department headquarters. As Trustee for the last two years, I have served as:

  • Commissioner of the Malverne Fire Department
  • Celebrations Committee Liaison 
  • Education Liaison 
  • Malverne Library Liaison

Moreover, my expertise in business administration has been an asset to the last three budget planning processes. I have worked diligently with the Mayor and Board to ensure that your tax dollars are spent efficiently and responsibly.

    • Launched Simplify by Lori Lang, which specializes in the home improvement and real estate industries
    • Real Estate Agent with KW Legendary right here in Malverne
    • Organized the fundraising campaign “Malverne Helping Our Merchants” since May 2020, which has raised over $50,000 to date for Malverne’s storefronts during the pandemic
    • Dedicated to growing Malverne’s downtown strip and providing support to Malverne Merchants
  • Business & Communications Expert

    • BS in Business Administration & MBA (candidate), Fordham University; MS in Elementary Ed., Hofstra University 
    • Operations Manager at family-run business in Hunts Point Produce Market for 16 years
    • Former spokesperson & legislative advocate for the American Cancer Society’s New York division
    • Founder & administrator of I Love Malverne Facebook Group, a social media platform for Village residents since 2011
  • Dedicated Volunteer & Community Organizer

    • President of St. Thomas the Apostle School Board (Member since 2009) 
    • OLL CYO Soccer and Basketball Coach & Malverne Mohawks Girls Lacrosse Coach since 2013
    • Coordinated various fundraising collections in the Village, including Hurricane Sandy Relief, Holiday Lighting Toy Drive, backpack collections for Midnight Run, California Wildfire Relief Fund & clothing and food drives for COVID relief
  • Lifelong Resident & Mom of Five

    As a lifelong resident of Malverne, Lori has deep roots in the Village and is blessed to have many friendships with her neighbors. The many contributions Malverne residents make to our community inspires Lori to do her part and serve as well. Together with her husband, Rob, Lori raises her five children—Jake, Ava, Luke, James and Clara—here in the Village.

Dear Malverne Residents, Members of the Hometown Pride Party will host several Meet & Greets during the next 6 weeks until the election to be held on Tuesday, March 19th. Save the dates! Come meet us, ask questions, and learn about our village platform. Here are just a few to start: 2/15 - Resident Forum - Malverne Library - 12-2 pm (*March date to be decided) 3/1 - UVA Rossa - Happy Hour with Hometown Pride - 4-7 pm 3/2 - Village Juice Garden - 10 am - 1 pm 3/3 - Sunday Breakfast Spots - 8 am to 11 am - look for us at all your favorites like the bakery, the deli, & the bagel store 3/5 - Meet the Candidates Night - hosted by the Malverne Civic Association & televised for resident viewing - 7 pm We will also be walking door to door in FEBRUARY on Saturdays - 2/9, 2/16 & 2/23 - to meet you all and hear your concerns.
